Sistem Informasi Manajemen Aset dengan Fitur Peringatan Pemeliharaan Menggunakan WhatsApp

In today’s digital era, leveraging information systems to support corporate asset management has become increasingly important. This research focuses on developing a web-based asset management information system at Company Y, which previously relied on manual records using Excel files. The system is designed to assist in asset recording, status tracking, and includes an alerting feature to notify asset custodians of upcoming maintenance schedules via WhatsApp notifications. so that asset managers receive reminders before scheduled maintenance. The analysis method used in this research is the PIECES framework, which covers: Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, and Service to evaluate the existing system and uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) to design the new system procedures. System testing is conducted through black box testing to ensure the system functions as intended. The result of this research is a more structured information system design that helps the General Affair (GA) division manage assets in a more organized and accessible manner.
