Abstract

Community education through PKBMs (Community Learning Centers) plays a strategic role in shaping the social ethics of learners through flexible, contextual, and real-world interaction-based learning processes. This research aims to describe how moral values are integrated into the learning at PKBM Rumah Kita, the social ethical values considered important by educators, and the changes in learners' attitudes as a result of the learning process. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was obtained through in-depth interviews, non-formal observations, and narrative documentation of learners' attitudinal development. The results of the research show that the integration of moral values is carried out situationally and through the educators' example, rather than through a formal curriculum. An egalitarian learning atmosphere encourages learners to be more courageous in interacting, communicating politely, collaborating, and being able to resolve conflicts peacefully. Thus, PKBMs function not only as institutions of educational equality, but also as spaces for the formation of social ethics relevant to the needs of modern society, a view that aligns with the concept of transformative learning (Mezirow, 1991).
