Household consumption expenditure is an important indicator in describing the level of welfare and economic structure of a community. This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution of food and non-food consumption expenditure in Central Java Province in 2024. The data used is secondary data on average consumption expenditure per district/city integrated with regional administrative boundary data. The analysis was conducted using a Geographic Information System approach through expenditure value classification and thematic map visualization. The results show a clear spatial difference between areas dominated by food expenditure and areas with higher non-food expenditure. Urban areas and centers of economic activity tend to have higher non-food expenditure, while rural areas are still dominated by food expenditure. These findings indicate an imbalance in consumption structure between regions in Central Java, which is in line with regional inequality patterns in Indonesia. Spatial analysis provides a more comprehensive picture of community consumption patterns and has the potential to support the formulation of region-based development policies.
