Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) is a primary preventive measure in improving public health, especially for vulnerable groups facing access, cultural, or educational barriers. Nurses as health education agents play a crucial role in facilitating behavioral change through a participatory, contextual, and empowerment-based approach. This study aims to analyze trends in nurse education practices in implementing CHLB based on five recent community service studies in Indonesia. The method used is a systematic literature review with the PRISMA framework. Article searches were conducted through Google Scholar and national journal repositories using the keywords “CHLB”, “nurse education”, and “health service” in the 2020–2025 period. Five articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed qualitatively. The results show that nurses implemented adaptive educational strategies according to the characteristics of the targets: (1) visual media and interactive demonstrations for elementary school children in Bengkulu;(2) interpersonal approaches, educational films, and live-in mentoring for the Suku Anak Dalam community in Jambi; (3) focus group discussions and practical simulations for fishing communities in Batam; (4) small group education based on religious values for Islamic boarding school students in Pangandaran; and (5) educational games and hands-on practice for coastal children in Makassar. All interventions reported significant increases in knowledge and the emergence of initial behavioral changes. The conclusion of this study states that the trend of nurses' educational practices in CHLB is holistic, participatory, and responsive to the socio-cultural context, making it effective in encouraging sustainable behavioral changes.
