Analisis Tindak Tutur Direktif Pada Film Laut Tengah Karya Archie Hekagery

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe the forms of directive speech acts found in the film Laut Tengah by Archie Hekagery. this film describe the function of directive speech acts in the film Laut Tengah by Archie Hekagery. Data collection was conducted using the free listening technique. The results of this study relate to directive speech acts seen from the aspects of form and function. In the film Laut Tengah by Archie Hekagery, five forms of directive speech acts were found: commands, requests, invitations, prohibitions, and advice. Viewed from the function of directive speech acts in the film Laut Tengah by Archie Hekagery have varied functions. The form of the directive speech act of command has the function of ordering, ordering, instructing, requiring, and inviting. The form of the directive speech act of request has the function of asking and pleading. The form of the directive speech act of invitation has the function of inviting, supporting, demanding, and collecting. The form of the directive speech act of prohibition has the function of prohibiting and preventing. The form of the directive speech act of advice has the function of advising, suggesting, and reminding. The directive form of critical speech acts has the function of reprimanding, cursing, anger, and threatening.
