Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF THE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) LEARNING MODEL ON STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN SCIENCE LEARNING CONTENT IN CLASS V SD N 096763 MARIHAT MAYANG The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the science learning outcomes of class V students. This research method is an experimental method in the form of pre-experimental designs (nondesigns) using the "One Group Design Pretest-Posttest" design. Based on research from initial test data (pretest), an average score of 60.64 was obtained. This is still relatively low in the learning process. Therefore, treatment is given in learning using the Problem Based Learning learning model. After that, the final test (posttest) was given and the average score was 81.4. This is proven by the Md test result score of 20.76 and the t test result of 9.43 so that Md in the research shows that the Problem Based Learning learning model is quite effective in improving students' science learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the science learning outcomes of class V students.
