Abstract

Patient safety is a patient's right during treatment and medication. The services provided by pharmacy staff are one part of implementing patient safety. Patient safety is a part that is carried out to assess, measure and evaluate the quality of pharmacy services in hospitals. The purpose of this research was to determine the factors that influence the implementation of patient safety in dr. R. Koesma Tuban. This research used a cross sectional design with an analytic observational type. Research subjects have met the inclusion criteria as many as 48 respondents of pharmaceutical workers. The data collection process was carried out in November 2021. The questionnaire used was adapted from the 6 patient safety goals issued by the 2018 National Hospital Accreditation Standard (SNARS) edition 1.1. Data analysis using Chi-square. The results of research conducted from 48 respondents showed that the implementation of patient safety had reached 100%, which means that it was implemented well. These results can be seen that there is a significant relationship between education status of 0.000 and length of work of 0.013 with a significance value of p <0.05. However, the factors of age, gender, profession, marital status, and workplace did not have a relationship with the implementation of patient safety with a significance of p> 0.05.
