Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the content of dakwah messages delivered by Habib Segaf Baharun through Instagram, recognizing it as a strategic medium for dakwah in the digital era. The research focuses on Instagram posts from June to October 2024. Employing a qualitative method based on Klaus Krippendorff’s content analysis framework, the study follows systematic stages including unitizing, purposive sampling, coding, data reduction, and interpretation. The findings reveal that Habib Segaf’s dakwah messages predominantly emphasize moral values such as patience, honesty, compassion, and piety. These messages are communicated using simple, accessible language and are complemented by engaging visual elements, which effectively capture and maintain the attention of young audiences. This communicative approach fosters deeper audience engagement and enhances their understanding of the dakwah content. The study concludes that Instagram serves as an effective and inspiring platform for digital dakwah, where adaptive strategies can significantly broaden the reach and influence of religious messages. This highlights the potential of social media as a vital tool for contemporary religious communication, especially in connecting with digitally savvy generations.
