Abstract

: In the teaching and learning process, Islamic Religious Education teachers play a very important role in student success. One thing that Islamic Religious Education teachers need to do is provide motivation to students. The motivation that is formed during the learning process will become a driving force within students which can foster enthusiasm for learning activities. If students can be inspired and motivated then the desert can grow the students' potential. With the potential of students, learning objectives will be achieved. The efforts made by teachers in the learning process have a significant impact on student achievement, involving aspects of values, behavior and knowledge. This aims to create students who have competence, knowledge and piety. A teacher must be creative in creating fun learning. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach, which is descriptive qualitative in nature by collecting data using interview and observation techniques.
